The Mystic Aura Strong Hold Styling Gel is designed to achieve long-lasting, touchable, defined curls. We use water-soluble fixatives that provide high-humidity curl retention with excellent curl snap and memory. This is the perfect styling gel to lock in all the nutrients and hydration while smoothing the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and retain your curl pattern.
MADE WITH CLEAN CHEMISTRY
Ingredients: Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Propanedial, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, AMP-Acrylates/Allyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Althaea Oficinalis (Marshmallow) leaf/root extract, PEG-6 Caprylic/ Capric Glycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol
TO USE: Section wet hair and apply to curl clumps using your preferred application technique. Diffuse on low heat or allow to air dry. Once dry, there will be a strong cast. Scrunch out the crunch revealing soft, defined curls.
Love this stuff-I agree it’s a bit of a learning curve since a little goes a long way, but it’s worth it. It refreshes well with water and layers easily over other products. I love that it doesn’t have protein so you can either add your own or layer over something that does should you need it.
Texture is nice, emulsified well with water. Easy to apply. Gives a great cast.
Tried the gel and my god. My curls were very nice before but wow. With this I have better definition that ever before, more even distribution of clumps and most of all maximum volume! I have never had this much volume, ever and I have tried alot of things to bump my volume. Additionally my curls are lasting longer and with much less frizz.
I normally get compliments on my curls from time to time but now almost everywhere I go someone comments on it. I had a woman get up and cross an entire restaurant to make sure she could compliment my curls and ask about what products I use after my first time using this.
Takes a little getting used to there is a learning curve to it which is by no means a negative. Just part of the process. I will cry if you ever go out of business. I have never felt so good and confident as I do using this.

I have searched for products that eliminate frizz and keep my curls on days 2, 3 and 4. I have been a die hard user of curl smith but was never happy with refresh days. I don’t know what is different, but this product keeps my curls on day 2, 3 and 4! I typically need just a a refresh mist without additional product. Love, love, love!

I've been using this gel for several months and it is truly amazing. You get the best curl cast with either air drying or diffusing. Just scrunch out your crunch and your curls will last for days. Truly for days! I add a quick spray with water to refresh the gel and curls and I'm good to go. No flaking. No residue.

I'm a product junkie, even though I committed myself to a brand and their gel and gel to foam about a year ago. Well my curls needs more moisture as they were drying out with these 2 products alone, and I wanted a gel that had a stiff cast, so my search for either different product or additional products was on. Facebook add popped up, I clicked, I browsed, I bought the travel sizes of the Apple curl serum, and the Mystic styling gel. Wash day came, I used both products (plus gel to foam), and I was amazed. The serum smells absolutely heavenly, and I love the way it feels in my hair (i have thick hair strands, but on the thinner side and i am currently growing back hair with minoxidil).....The gel, there is absolutely no smell for those that need that, personally I wish there was a scented version (apple too if I had my way). The cast I got was AWESOME, kinda looked like Medusa until I scrunched out the crunch with my favorite ghost oil. I was so surprised at how SOFT my hair was at the end of styling, with that crunch you would not think it would turn out so soft, yet not frizzy, and it stays in place?! What? Is this magic? I think it is. I just bought the full sized versions of the Mystic Gel, and Apple Serum. I wish it were a tad bit cheaper, like around $25, but it is what it is. I love the glass containers the products come in.
