Choose this set if your hair doesn't need much extra moisture and you want to find out which of our lighter formulas suits you before committing to full-size bars.

If your hair feels dry, start with the Hydrating Wash Day Discovery Set instead, even if your strands are fine. Fine hair can still need real moisture, and the Hydrating set includes Mystic, which is made for exactly that.

A good fit if you:

Have fine to medium curls or waves
Don't need a lot of extra moisture
Want to compare a few options before choosing

HOW TO USE THIS SET

Shampoo: Wet your hair all the way through. Gently swipe the bar along your scalp, then along the ends. Set the bar down, work up the lather with your fingers, and rinse thoroughly.

Conditioner: Thoroughly wet your hair and the conditioner bar. Hold the bar in your palm and rake it through your hair, focusing on the lengths and ends. You'll do more passes than you did with the shampoo, and you'll feel it turn creamy as it mixes with the water in your hair. Work it through with your fingers or a wet brush until you have the slip you need to detangle, then rinse thoroughly.

Between washes, keep your bars somewhere they can dry completely. They'll last much longer.

REAL CURLS WHO LOVE THIS

Takes getting used to

So far, I've enjoyed using the Apple and Silver shampoo/conditioner bars (haven't tried the Angel line yet). I appreciate having this trial sized sample option. The shampoo lathers well and the conditioner detangles my thick wavy hair. I'm not sure how clarifying the Silver shampoo is, may need more time to see how it works. One thing I have noticed is that I have less hair loss when detangling and my scalp is a little less itchy on day 3. I'm still not 100% sold but time will tell.

Convenient sample set

I love that this set lets me try out multiple different lines to figure out which works best for my hair. So far I think Silver has been my favorite. The conditioner is more difficult to use than I expected, which is unfortunate because I do think the formula has been working well. The shampoo has been great though. It smells nice and lathers up beautifully. I will probably continue to buy more of the shampoo bars even if I do switch back to liquid conditioner for convenience.

Great for trying different options

This set is great for trying the different options. I think this review request should have come a bit later because it can take a few tries to note a difference. That said, I was glad I had all three options for different needs: clarifying, moisturizing, and protecting.

Exactly what I was looking for

I got this collection as to try the product out. So far it is amazing. Everything I was looking for. I even tried it on my daughter who has fine straight hair and we were amazed at how her hair came out so tangle free. Can't believe I didn't try sooner.
