Choose the Angel Aura set if your scalp is balanced to mildly oily and your strands are very fine or delicate.

This is the lightest routine we make. Fine hair doesn't need much, and it holds onto whatever you leave behind, so both products are built to clean thoroughly, rinse completely, and leave nothing sitting on the strand. Rice protein runs through both, strengthening fine hair and adding lift at the roots.

A good fit if you:

Have a normal to mildly oily scalp
Have very fine or delicate curls and waves
Get weighed down easily by conditioner
Don't need a lot of extra moisture
Want more volume and lift at the roots

HOW TO USE

SHAMPOO:

Wet your hair all the way through. The wetter it is, the better the bar works.

Gently swipe the bar along your scalp, then along the ends. You don't need to be aggressive with it, and you don't need to lather it in your hands first. The bar wants to be on your hair, not on your palms.

Set the bar down and work the lather up with your fingers, moving through the scalp and down the lengths. It should lather up easily. If it doesn't, there's probably buildup, so rinse and do a second pass.

Rinse thoroughly.

Between washes, set the bar somewhere it can dry out. It'll last a lot longer that way.

CONDITIONER:

Thoroughly wet your hair and the conditioner bar.

Hold the bar in your palm and rake it through your hair, focusing on the lengths and ends. You'll do more passes than you did with the shampoo, and you'll feel it turn creamy as it mixes with the water in your hair.

Work it through with your fingers or a wet brush until you have the slip you need to detangle. Add more water or a few more passes of the bar as needed.

Rinse thoroughly or leave a little in for extra hydration.

After use, keep the bar somewhere it can dry completely between washes to help it last longer.

REAL CURLS WHO LOVE THIS

Just right for my fine grey curls

I found the apple too drying and the mystic too moisturizing. Angel is just right. A clean scalp and clean but not tangled hair. Leaves my fine grey curls not weighed down and ready for the gel. I don’t need a leave in conditioner with this set. Love avoiding plastic and not paying for water. Great for travel.

Shampoo and Conditioner

I am loving both of these items. Usually when I try a shampoo bar, I have a hard time getting a good lather, and I am able to get a good lather with this one! However, the conditioner is a little bit harder to extract from the bar. I may or may not do the conditioner again.

For the conditioner, try applying it to soaking wet hair and gliding the bar directly over your mid lengths and ends a few extra times before working it through with your hands or a wide tooth comb. That extra water really helps activate the bar and improve the slip.

Excellent wavy hair cleansing/conditioning combo

I recently started using the Angel Aura shampoo & conditioner bars. I have very fine wavy hair that is easily weighed down. I do not color treat my hair, so it’s pretty healthy. This combo cleanses gently and conditions very nicely. They’re easy to use and smell great. I also love not having bottles. It takes so little of the bars to do the job. Highly recommend!

Angel Aura volumizing fine curls

I absolutely love the shampoo bar. The creamy lather is almost instant. I am still trying to acclimate to the conditioning bar. Since my hair is not thick I chose volumizing, the frizz is a bit crazy. But as I continue to use it I will see if I should try a different set.
