The Mystic Aura Strong Hold Styling Gel is designed to achieve long-lasting, touchable, defined curls. We use water-soluble fixatives that provide high-humidity curl retention with excellent curl snap and memory. This is the perfect styling gel to lock in all the nutrients and hydration while smoothing the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and retain your curl pattern.
MADE WITH CLEAN CHEMISTRY
Ingredients: Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Propanedial, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, AMP-Acrylates/Allyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Althaea Oficinalis (Marshmallow) leaf/root extract, PEG-6 Caprylic/ Capric Glycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol
TO USE: Section wet hair and apply to curl clumps using your preferred application technique. Diffuse on low heat or allow to air dry. Once dry, there will be a strong cast. Scrunch out the crunch revealing soft, defined curls.
Love this stuff-I agree it’s a bit of a learning curve since a little goes a long way, but it’s worth it. It refreshes well with water and layers easily over other products. I love that it doesn’t have protein so you can either add your own or layer over something that does should you need it.
Texture is nice, emulsified well with water. Easy to apply. Gives a great cast.
Tried the gel and my god. My curls were very nice before but wow. With this I have better definition that ever before, more even distribution of clumps and most of all maximum volume! I have never had this much volume, ever and I have tried alot of things to bump my volume. Additionally my curls are lasting longer and with much less frizz.
I normally get compliments on my curls from time to time but now almost everywhere I go someone comments on it. I had a woman get up and cross an entire restaurant to make sure she could compliment my curls and ask about what products I use after my first time using this.
Takes a little getting used to there is a learning curve to it which is by no means a negative. Just part of the process. I will cry if you ever go out of business. I have never felt so good and confident as I do using this.

I tried this at recommendation of a creator I follow who had amazing results even though I was hesitant with the cost. I got absolutely no hold and no cast from this gel. I guess I can appreciate the lightweight fuel as I was putting it on and that it wasn’t super sticky, but that also translated into it not doing a single thing for my hair. So that was a bummer and I guess I will be trying to see if anybody else wants what’s left.

One tip that can make a big difference with this gel is applying it to soaking wet hair and using enough product to form a cast, then letting your hair fully dry before scrunching it out. I held off on trying this gel for a long time because of the price and size of the jar. I kept seeing claims that "a little goes a long way," but I was skeptical. I've used products that make this claim before and I've always had to use more than what's "recommended" to get the result I'm looking for. HOWEVER, I finally decided to try this gel and it's genuinely amazing! I was previously using a flaxseed gel and I'm using about half the amount of product that I used to while still getting incredible hold. This gel doesn't weigh my hair down at all or leave the flaky residue that was apparently coming from my old gel (I just thought I had dandruff 🤷🏼♀️). I'm so glad I tried this and will for sure buy a refill pouch when I start to run low. Angela is a wizard and I'm SO grateful I found her booth at the Ren Faire two years ago. Truly life changing.
