The Mystic Aura Strong Hold Styling Gel is designed to achieve long-lasting, touchable, defined curls. We use water-soluble fixatives that provide high-humidity curl retention with excellent curl snap and memory. This is the perfect styling gel to lock in all the nutrients and hydration while smoothing the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and retain your curl pattern.
MADE WITH CLEAN CHEMISTRY
Ingredients: Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Propanedial, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, AMP-Acrylates/Allyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Althaea Oficinalis (Marshmallow) leaf/root extract, PEG-6 Caprylic/ Capric Glycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol
TO USE: Section wet hair and apply to curl clumps using your preferred application technique. Diffuse on low heat or allow to air dry. Once dry, there will be a strong cast. Scrunch out the crunch revealing soft, defined curls.
Love this stuff-I agree it’s a bit of a learning curve since a little goes a long way, but it’s worth it. It refreshes well with water and layers easily over other products. I love that it doesn’t have protein so you can either add your own or layer over something that does should you need it.
Texture is nice, emulsified well with water. Easy to apply. Gives a great cast.
Tried the gel and my god. My curls were very nice before but wow. With this I have better definition that ever before, more even distribution of clumps and most of all maximum volume! I have never had this much volume, ever and I have tried alot of things to bump my volume. Additionally my curls are lasting longer and with much less frizz.
I normally get compliments on my curls from time to time but now almost everywhere I go someone comments on it. I had a woman get up and cross an entire restaurant to make sure she could compliment my curls and ask about what products I use after my first time using this.
Takes a little getting used to there is a learning curve to it which is by no means a negative. Just part of the process. I will cry if you ever go out of business. I have never felt so good and confident as I do using this.

I’ve not worn my hair curley because it never held. A different cut and using the Mystic styling gel made all the difference in the world. My curl held and it wasn’t crunchy. Love this stuff.

I really love this gel for being lightweight and hard hold so I don’t need to compromise when styling my mostly fine/very fine curls. My hair has been going through a lot of changes in response to recent medical challenges and I’d just about given up on it when I saw Silver Stone Apothecary recommended in a subreddit. There’s a learning curve to this gel, but it’s so worth it. The gel forms a really nice cast and it refreshes well with water. I love that I can get a cast when I add water since my hair doesn’t like anything but water to refresh. My only issue with this gel is the packaging; there’s a weird brown color that forms inside the ridge of the jar lid. I’m considering moving the gel from the jar it comes in to a container with a pump or finding a jar lid with a pump in it so I can get more use out of the product.
